FAQs

1. Is altitude sickness a concern? How should I prepare?
Yes, Ladakh is a high-altitude region. Acclimatization is essential. We recommend resting on your first day in Leh to let your body adjust to the thin air. Stay hydrated, avoid strenuous activity upon arrival, and consult your doctor about altitude sickness medication (like Diamox) before you travel.
Only postpaid connections (Jio, Airtel, and BSNL) work in Ladakh. Prepaid SIM cards from other states do not function in the region. We highly recommend carrying a postpaid SIM to stay connected.
Ladakh has unpredictable weather. Even in summer, nights can be very cold. We recommend the “layering” method: carry thermal wear, a heavy jacket, a windcheater, comfortable trekking shoes, sunglasses, and a hat.
Yes, this tour is designed for travelers of all levels. While the terrain is rugged, the pace is set to allow for proper rest and sightseeing. However, since we traverse high passes like Khardung La, physical fitness helps, and those with pre-existing heart or respiratory conditions should consult a physician first.
We exclude certain meals (like some lunches) to give you the flexibility to explore local cafes and try authentic Ladakhi cuisine at your own pace. This keeps the experience local and lets you choose your own dining preferences.
The itinerary is planned to cover all major highlights, but it is subject to change based on weather conditions, road closures, or government regulations. Our local teams are experienced in adjusting plans on the fly to ensure your safety and enjoyment without compromising the quality of the trip.
