Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive at Cochin

The 8-day best of Kerala tour begins in Cochin. Upon your arrival at Cochin Airport, you will meet our representative, who will assist you and transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. After checking in and freshening up, you will be ready for a local sightseeing tour of Cochin.

 

Today, you will explore Chinese Fishing nets, Fort Cochin, Mattancherry Palace, St. Francis Church, Dutch Cemetery, Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, Hill Palace, and Bolghatty Palace. However, enjoying boating at the Marine Drive is a unique experience.

Later, visit the Lulu Shopping Mall. In the evening, you will attend a cultural performance featuring a Kathakali dance show.

Day 2

Wake up early and have your breakfast. Afterward, pack your belongings and check out of the hotel. Today, you will be driven to Munnar. On the way, make a stop at the waterfalls to enjoy the natural beauty. The misty roads, cloudy skies, and stunning views will accompany you during the drive. Once you arrive in the hill town, check in to your designated hotel. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

Day 3

Day 3 of your 8-day best of Kerala tour is dedicated to sightseeing in Munnar. Wake up early and enjoy a delicious breakfast. Afterward, prepare for a sightseeing tour of the area. Your first stop will be the Tea Museum, where you will learn about the processing of India’s favorite beverage.

 

Next, visit the lovely Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Kundala Lake. In the afternoon, head to Eravikulam National Park to continue your exploration.

 

Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4

Start your day with an early breakfast at your hotel. Afterward, begin packing and check out of the hotel. Today, you will travel by road to Thekkady. Upon your arrival in this nature-rich town, check in to your hotel or jungle lodge.

 

In the afternoon, experience a boat ride on Periyar Lake. The Periyar National Park is situated right along the shores of the lake, and during your boat tour, you may spot various wildlife and birds. After a day filled with adventure and the beauty of nature, you will return to your hotel room.

 

Overnight stay at chosen accommodation.

Day 5

Begin your day with breakfast before checking out of the hotel. Seek assistance for your transfer to Alleppey. Upon your arrival in the town, you will be assisted with your transfer to the houseboat. Complete the check-in formalities and take some time to rest.

 

After a while, the houseboat cruise will take you through the picturesque village, paddy fields, and charming churches and temples, providing a soothing experience. Keep an eye out for rare birds and take in the blessings of nature. Even the nighttime views from the houseboat are impressive. Spend the night stargazing on the deck.

Day 6

Today, the houseboat arrives at the shore. Enjoy a delicious breakfast, after which you’ll check out of the houseboat. Then, proceed to Kovalam by road. Upon arrival in this beach town, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can watch the marvelous sunset, sample some local seafood, or indulge in one of the relaxing Ayurvedic sessions.

 

Overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day 7

Start your day with a delicious breakfast. Later, proceed for a local sightseeing tour of Trivandrum. Then, pay a visit to the revered Padmanabhaswamy Temple, the earthly abode of Lord Vishnu, from which the town gets its name. Also, explore the Napier Museum and Zoo. The afternoon is free for shopping. Have a look at the handicrafts, seashell-created items, etc.

 

Overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day 8

Today marks the final day of your best of Kerala tour. Enjoy a delicious breakfast featuring local dishes from Kerala. Afterward, pack your bags and check out of the hotel. You will be transferred to Trivandrum Airport or the Railway Station to continue your journey to your next destination. Return home with wonderful memories of Kerala.

In case of tour/travel services cancellation due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s, we must be informed in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

  • 60 days & before arrival – 10% of the tour/service cost.
  • 59 to 30 days before arrival – 20% of the tour/service cost.
  • 29 days to 15 days before arrival – 25% of the tour/service cost.
  • 14 to 08 days before arrival – 50% of the tour/service cost.
  • 07 days & less before arrival or no show – NO REFUND.
