Day 1
Arrival At Srinagar - Srinagar Sightseeing
Welcome to Kashmir. Our representative Holiday Mantra will receive you at the airport/railway station and the cab will drive you to the hotel & afternoon Srinagar Sightseeing. Start with Mughal Gardens – Shalimar, Nishat, Chashma Shahi, Botanical Garden. TULIP GARDEN. Take a drive to the famous Pari Mahal. Tulip Garden. Further during the day, visit Shankaracharya temple which is atop a small hill in the city. Overnight stay at Srinagar .
Day 2
Srinagar To Gulmarg - Gulmarg Day Tour
On this day, post breakfast drive to the famous Gulmarg Resort. On the way, you can explore the famous Drung Waterfall. At Gulmarg, take the famous Gondola Ride, and visit the St Mary’s church, Temple, Golf Course, Maharaja Palace, Strawberry Farm, Khilanmarg and Gulmarg market. Night stay at Srinagar. Note: All sightseeing in Gulmarg comes under Gulmarg Union Transportation. We are provided 1 birthday cake
Day 3
Srinagar To Sonmarg - Sonmarg Day Tour
Drive to Sonmarg. On the way explore the paddy fields of Sindh valley and the Sindh River. At Sonmarg visit the famous Thajiwas Glacier and sanctuary. You can also visit the zero-point Zojila Pass – the mountain pass that connects Kashmir to Ladakh. Night stay at Sonmarg . Note: The Zero Point visit comes under Sonmarg Union Transportation.
Day 4
Sonmarg To Srinagar Trasfer
On this day drive to Srinagar. Post lunch, take a tour of the interiors of Srinagar. Visit its craft and architecture and enjoy its lovely cuisines while wandering in the streets of the old city. In the evening, take a shikar ride and tour around Dal Lake. Sit back and enjoy this memorable lifetime ride in the waters of the lake. Night stay at a houseboat.
Day 5
Srinagar - Pahalgam
After breakfast, depart for Pahalgam. Enjoy the scenic ride; along the way, visit saffron fields, bat factories, apple gardens, and a rafting point, passing lush meadows, valleys, and charming villages. Overnight stay in a hotel at Pahalgam. SPA WITH CANDLELIGHT DINNER.
Day 6
Pahalgam Sightseeing
Full day exploring Pahalgam’s Betaab Valley, Chandanwari, Aru Valley, and local markets. Enjoy riverside walks and optional pony rides. overnight Stay at CHINAR RESORT
Day 7
Srinagar Leisure & Holiday Mantra Exclusive Houseboat Stay Free
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, today is dedicated to your leisure and personal exploration. Day 8
Final Departure & Fond Memories (Srinagar To Airport)
On the final morning of your journey, wake up to a breathtaking sunrise on the houseboat and enjoy a traditional breakfast. If time permits, you may take one last Shikara ride (optional) to capture the final beauty of the valley in your heart. According to your flight schedule, a representative from Holiday Mantra Tours & Travels will assist you with a smooth transfer to the Srinagar Airport. THE COST DOS’E NOT EXCLUSIONS:
- Travel Tickets: All flight or train tickets to and from Srinagar.
- Activities & Entry Fees: * Entrance fees for monuments, parks, or museums.
- Guide services at any location.
- Video camera fees.
- Adventure activities (e.g., Skating, Snow Bikes, etc.) and the Drung Waterfall visit.
- Local Union Transportation: Please note that our private vehicle has specific route limitations due to local regulations. Expenses for local taxi unions (e.g., Tangmarg to Gulmarg, or specific local sightseeing in Pahalgam/Sonmarg/Gulmarg where outside vehicles are not permitted) are to be paid directly by the guest.
- Gondola Tickets: The cost for the Gulmarg Gondola ride (all phases) is not included.
- Out-of-Itinerary Trips: Any excursions, extra sightseeing, or late-night travel not specifically mentioned in the tour itinerary will be charged as extra and must be settled directly with the driver.
- Unforeseen Events: Any costs arising from circumstances beyond our control, such as flight/train cancellations, bad weather, road blockages, natural calamities, strikes, or political unrest.
- Insurance: We strongly advise all guests to obtain comprehensive travel insurance before starting their journey.
- Government Levies: GST or any other taxes not explicitly included in the package quote.
Important Notes for Your Journey
To ensure your trip to Kashmir is smooth, comfortable, and memorable, please take a moment to review these important guidelines:
Identity Documents (Crucial): Please carry your original Passport, Voter ID, or Aadhaar Card (along with 5 photocopies) for permits and hotel check-ins. All these forms of identification are now accepted. Please ensure the physical copies are valid and easily accessible.
Packing for the Mountains: Even if the weather in Srinagar is pleasant, destinations like Gulmarg, Sonmarg, and Pahalgam are at higher altitudes and can get quite cold, especially in the evenings. Always carry layers: a good jacket, gloves, and warm clothing are essential regardless of the season.
Understanding “Union” Transportation: Kashmir utilizes a local taxi union system for specific tourist zones (Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Pahalgam). Our dedicated cab will drop you at the designated taxi stand/parking area. For local sightseeing within these specific areas, you will need to switch to a local union-approved vehicle. This is a regional regulation and is mandatory for all tourists.
Health & Altitude: You will be traveling through hilly terrain. Stay hydrated and carry any personal medications you may require. If you have any history of motion sickness, please keep your medicine handy for the winding roads.
Communication & Support: Your driver is your primary point of contact during transfers and sightseeing. For any issues regarding room maintenance or food quality at your hotel, please contact the hotel reception directly for the fastest resolution. If you have specific concerns, our team at Holiday Mantra is just a phone call away.
Flexibility in Mountain Travel: Kashmir’s beauty is wild and weather-dependent. Occasionally, factors like heavy snowfall or road closures can require us to make slight adjustments to the itinerary for your safety. We appreciate your flexibility in such situations.
