Important Notes for Rajasthan Group Travelers
1. Safety, Discipline & Heritage Decorum
Asset Care: Group members must maintain strict discipline. Any damage caused to hotel assets, heritage fort structures, or camp properties due to guest negligence will be the direct financial liability of the individual traveler or group coordinator.
Desert Guidelines: During the Camel Safari and cultural programs at Sam Sand Dunes, guests must follow the handlers’ and tour managers’ instructions. Wandering into unlit desert areas alone after dark is strictly prohibited.
Punctuality: Rajasthan involves long travel distances between cities (such as Pushkar to Jaisalmer). Strict adherence to morning departure timings is required to cross highways safely and reach locations before sunset.
2. Accommodation & Camp Realities
Sharing Models: Accommodations are provided based on the chosen tier (twin/triple/quad sharing) in verified hotels and camps. Standard hotel check-in time is 12:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.
Desert Weather Fluctuations: The Thar Desert experiences extreme climate variations. Day temperatures can be warm, while nights in the open desert camps can get quite chilly. Guests are advised to pack clothing layers accordingly.
Personal Bills: Extra expenses such as laundry, room service orders, personal phone calls, or specialized hotel amenities like room heaters are completely excluded and must be settled at the reception before departure.
3. Transport, Highway Transit & Hygiene
Long-Distance Travel: Road routes are executed via well-maintained tourist coaches or vehicles suited for desert highways. To maintain group hygiene, guests are requested to avoid littering inside the vehicles.
Unforeseen Contingencies: In case of sudden flight/rail delays, unexpected highway traffic jams, vehicle malfunctions, or sudden weather changes, any secondary costs for extended stays or alternate transport will be borne directly by the client.
4. Medical Support & Emergency Guidelines
First-Aid Allocation: Our tour vehicles carry a basic first-aid medical kit. However, travelers undergoing active treatments or prone to motion sickness on long road drives must carry sufficient quantities of their prescribed medications.
Advanced Clinical Care: Advanced clinical medical emergencies, hospitalizations, or specialized medical tests are completely excluded from the base package and must be handled via travel insurance or paid on-site.
5. Verification Roster
Identity Tracking: All traveling members must carry valid government-issued photo ID cards (Aadhaar Card, Passport, or Voter ID) along with passport-sized photographs to facilitate smooth check-ins at hotels, desert camps, and border highway checkpoints.
