Day 1

Morning arrive in the bustling city of Mumbai, where your student group will be warmly received by the HolidayMantra team and transferred to your verified hotel. After freshening up and enjoying a healthy breakfast, proceed for an engaging local sightseeing tour of Mumbai. The main places you will visit include the iconic landmark Gateway of India, the scenic green lawns of Hanging Gardens, the sweeping coastal views along Marine Drive, and the lively shores of Juhu Beach. In the evening, return to the hotel for a warm dinner and a comfortable overnight stay in Mumbai.
Day 2
Elephanta Caves Island Excursion & Local Market Survey (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
After a fresh morning breakfast, depart for an exciting sea excursion to visit the world-famous Elephanta Caves. Students will board a scenic boat ride across the Arabian Sea to reach Elephanta Island and explore the magnificent network of 5th-century rock-cut cave temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. After completing the heritage study at Elephanta, return by boat to the mainland. In the evening, students will get dedicated time to explore local handicraft markets and conduct urban trade surveys in Mumbai. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Mumbai.
Day 3
Inter-City Train Transit from Mumbai to Aurangabad (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Enjoy a morning breakfast at the hotel, check out, and transfer to the railway station to board your train to Aurangabad (Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar). Enjoy a comfortable 7-hour scenic rail journey tracking the changing landscape from coastal plains to the Deccan Plateau. Arrive in Aurangabad in the evening, check into your verified star hotel, and spend the rest of the day at leisure to relax. Enjoy a warm regional dinner and an overnight stay in Aurangabad.
Day 4
Ajanta Caves UNESCO Heritage & Buddhist Art Excursion (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Following a fresh breakfast at the hotel, depart for a full-day study excursion to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Ajanta Caves. Located about 100 km from the city, this site features approximately 30 rock-cut Buddhist cave monuments dating from the 2nd century BCE to 480 CE. Students will study ancient mural paintings, intricate fresco art, chaityas, and viharas under expert guidance. After an enriching day of art and history exploration in Ajanta, return to the hotel in Aurangabad for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5
Ellora Caves, Daulatabad Fort & Railway Station Departure (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and dedicate the final day to the architectural marvels of the region. Visit the impregnable medieval hilltop fortress Daulatabad Fort (Devagiri), explore the ancient Aurangabad Caves, and marvel at the UNESCO World Heritage Ellora Caves, featuring the breathtaking single-rock monolithic sculpture of Kailasa Temple (Cave 16). In the evening, after completing sightseeing and dinner organized by HolidayMantra, transfer to the Aurangabad railway station to board your train departing back to your hometown as the tour ends.

- Any portage services at railway stations, airports, and hotels, and all items of a personal nature.

- Camera fees or video shooting permits at specific historical monuments and cave complexes.
- Medical costs, sudden doctor-on-call bills, and personal travel insurance.
- Tips to drivers, cleaners, boat operators, and local destination helpers.
- Expenses caused by factors beyond our control like rail and flight delays, roadblocks, vehicle malfunctions, unexpected political disturbances, sudden tax revisions, etc.
Important Notes for Mumbai-Aurangabad-Ajanta-Ellora Student Group Tours :
1. Safety, Discipline & Heritage Site Decorum
Cave Conservation Rules: Ancient sites like Ajanta Caves and Ellora Caves are delicate UNESCO World Heritage properties. Flash photography, touching ancient frescoes, carving on cave walls, or littering is strictly illegal and will draw immediate legal fines.
Boat Travel Decorum: During the ferry ride to Elephanta Caves, students must strictly wear life jackets, follow boat crew safety commands, and avoid leaning over railings.
Behavioral Obligations: Students must maintain an exemplary code of conduct. Any damage caused to star hotel assets, transit coaches, or historical structures due to student negligence will be the direct financial liability of the respective student or institution.
2. Accommodation & Separation Policies
Standard Room Sharing: Student accommodation is structured on a quad-sharing basis (4 students per room) in verified, secure Star Hotels. Separate rooms, floors, or wings are strictly maintained to keep male and female students safely segregated.
Check-In/Check-Out Windows: Standard hotel check-in time is 12:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Early placement or delayed check-out requests are purely subject to live room availability.
Personal Billing: Expenses for items of a personal nature (e.g., laundry, room service orders, or phone calls) are completely excluded and must be cleared individually at the reception before check-out.
3. Transport Management, Highway Travel & Punctuality
Strict Punctuality: Long-distance excursions (like visiting Ajanta Caves from Aurangabad city) involve a 2-hour drive each way. Student groups must strictly adhere to the morning departure timings set by the Tour Escort to maximize learning time at the monuments.
Inter-City Rail Coordination: Groups must arrive at railway stations at least 45 minutes prior to scheduled train departures for organized luggage handling and coach boarding.
Unforeseen Contingencies: In the event of sudden train delays, unexpected highway traffic jams, or bad weather in the sea passage, any extra expenses incurred for extended stays or alternate logistics will be borne directly by the client.
4. Medical Support & Emergency Guidelines
First-Aid Deployment: Our accompanying Tour Escort carries a basic first-aid medical kit. However, students undergoing specific, regular medical treatments or prone to motion sickness during long drives must carry their prescribed medications in sufficient quantities.
Advanced Medical Expenses: Any sudden clinical hospitalizations, specialized medical tests, or doctor-on-call visits at the hotel are entirely excluded from the base package cost and must be handled directly via student travel insurance or paid on-site.
5. Institutional Documentation & Faculty Benefits
Complimentary Faculty Management: To facilitate smooth institutional coordination, HolidayMantra offers 2 complimentary slots for faculty members for every minimum unit of 40 paying students.
Mandatory Master Roster: The school or college administration must submit a stamped master list containing names, emergency photo ID details, phone numbers, blood groups, and parent contact details for all traveling members at least 15 days prior to the departure date.
