Important Notes for Bangalore-Wayanad-Coorg Student Tours:
1. Safety, Discipline & Heritage / Eco-Zone Rules
Cave & Waterfall Safety: Sites like Edakkal Caves involve steep uphill treks, while Soochipara Waterfall features slippery rocks. Students must stay within designated walkways, refrain from stepping into dangerous water zones, and follow safety instructions strictly.
Monastic & Temple Decorum: When visiting the Namdroling Monastery (Golden Temple) in Bylakuppe, students must maintain silence, dress modestly, and respect religious customs.
Property & Environmental Care: Wayanad and Coorg are ecologically sensitive hill districts. Littering plastic, plucking flora, or causing physical damage to hotel assets and coach interiors will result in direct financial liability for the student or institution.
2. Accommodation & Institutional Guidelines
Strict Gender Segregation: Separate wings, floors, or rooms are strictly enforced for male and female students across all hotel stays in Mysore, Wayanad, and Coorg.
Check-In/Check-Out Standard: Standard hotel check-in time is 12:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Early placement or late check-outs are purely subject to live room availability.
Personal Bills: Extra expenses such as room service orders, laundry, or personal phone calls are excluded from the base package and must be settled directly at hotel receptions before departure.
3. Mountain Transit, Interstate Crossing & Punctuality
Strict Departure Timings: Driving across forest checkpoints and winding Western Ghats passes (such as Lakkidi Ghat) requires strict adherence to morning departure schedules set by the Tour Escort.
Interstate Permits: Transit between Karnataka and Kerala involves interstate tourist vehicle permits, which are fully handled and paid for by HolidayMantra.
Transit Contingencies: In cases of unforeseen rail delays, highway landslides, or traffic jams, any additional costs incurred for extended stays will be borne directly by the client.
4. Medical Preparedness & First-Aid Allocation
First-Aid Availability: A basic first-aid medical kit is maintained onboard the coach. Students prone to motion sickness on winding hill roads must carry their prescribed medications.
Emergency Medical Care: Advanced clinical medical expenses, hospitalizations, or doctor visits are excluded from the package and must be handled via travel insurance or settled on-site.
5. Institutional Documentation & Master Roster
Institutional Roster Submission: The college administration must submit an official stamped student roster detailing full names, emergency contact numbers, blood groups, and photo ID details at least 15 days prior to the departure date.
