Day 1
Arrival in Aurangabad & Local Sightseeing
Arrive at Aurangabad Airport or Railway Station in the morning and transfer to your hotel for check-in and freshen up by 12 PM. After lunch, head out in the afternoon to visit Bibi Ka Maqbara, a stunning Mughal-era monument resembling the Taj Mahal with its white domes and gardens—spend about an hour exploring. Next, proceed to Panchakki, an ancient water mill showcasing ingenious 17th-century hydraulic engineering, followed by the Aurangabad Caves, a group of early Buddhist rock-cut shrines. In the evening, take a leisurely walk through local markets like Cidco for street food, handicrafts, and shopping, then return to the hotel for relaxation. Meals include breakfast at the hotel; lunch and dinner on your own. Overnight in Aurangabad. Tip: Carry water and hats for afternoon sightseeing; expect about 3 km of walking.
Day 2
Ajanta Caves Exploration (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
Depart early at 8 AM for Ajanta Caves, a 105 km (~2.5-hour) drive, arriving by 10:30 AM for a guided tour of the 30 magnificent rock-cut Buddhist caves filled with ancient frescoes and Jataka tales. Spend the morning delving into highlights like Cave 1’s Bodhisattva paintings. After a light lunch at the site cafeteria, continue in the afternoon exploring caves such as Cave 26 with its Mahaparinirvana sculpture until 4 PM. Return to Aurangabad by 6:30 PM for free time or an optional demonstration of traditional Himroo weaving. Meals include breakfast at the hotel and packed lunch. Overnight in Aurangabad. Tip: Wear comfortable shoes for stairs; photography is restricted inside caves—audio guides available.
Day 3
Ellora Caves, Grishneshwar Temple & Transfer to Shirdi
Start at 8 AM with a short 30 km (~1-hour) drive to Ellora Caves, where you’ll spend 3 hours marveling at 34 rock-cut caves blending Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist art—the star is Kailasa Temple (Cave 16), the world’s largest single-rock monument. In the early afternoon, visit the nearby Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of India’s 12 sacred Shiva shrines, for a reverent 1-hour darshan. Enjoy lunch en route, then drive 110 km (~2.5 hours) to Shirdi, checking into your hotel by 7 PM. Cap the evening with the serene Shej Aarti at Sai Baba Temple around 8:30 PM. Meals include breakfast at the hotel, lunch en route, and dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Shirdi. Tip: Book VIP darshan passes online; wear modest clothing for the temple.
Day 4
Sai Baba Darshan & Departure
Rise early at 5 AM for priority darshan at Shirdi Sai Baba Temple (30-45 minutes), followed by visits to Dwarkamai Mosque (Sai’s residence), Chavadi (his resting place), and the Sai Heritage Museum showcasing relics and artifacts—total about 1.5 hours. From 9 AM to 11 AM, explore nearby spots like Wet Wadi or local markets for prasad and souvenirs. Check out by 12 PM and transfer to Shirdi Airport, Railway Station, or your onward journey (e.g., to Mumbai or Nashik). Meals include breakfast at the hotel. Tip: Arrive early to beat darshan queues; free shuttle buses run within the temple complex.

Know Before You Go
Booking Requirement: A minimum of 2 people is required to book this tour package.
Vehicle Allocation:
1–4 Passengers: A comfortable Sedan (Dzire, Etios) will be provided for all transfers and sightseeing.
5+ Passengers: A spacious SUV ( Ertiga, Innova) will be assigned to accommodate larger groups.
Documentation: Please carry a valid government-issued ID proof (Aadhar Card, Driving License, or Passport) and your booking voucher for hotel check-ins and monument entries.
Exclusions: All personal expenses (such as laundry, telephone calls, tips, and additional meals) are not included in the standard package price.
Things To Carry
To stay comfortable during the cave explorations and long drives, we recommend packing the following:
Sun Protection: A wide-brimmed cap or hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen lotion (SPF 40+ recommended) to shield you from the afternoon sun at the heritage sites.
Footwear: Sturdy, comfortable walking shoes are essential, as the Ajanta and Ellora caves involve significant walking and climbing stone steps.
Personal Care: Carry your personal toiletries and any specific prescribed medications you may need during the trip.
Hydration: A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated during the outdoor sightseeing sessions.
