Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Haridwar – Drive to Joshimath (281 km / approx. 7.5–8 hours)

Upon arrival in Haridwar, meet our representative who will assist you with a comfortable private transfer to Joshimath. The drive takes you through scenic mountain roads, dense forests, and river valleys, offering beautiful photo opportunities. On reaching Joshimath, check in at the hotel and relax after the long journey. If time allows, you can explore nearby temples or local markets at your own pace. Enjoy dinner followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2

After breakfast, check out and begin the journey toward Auli. En route, you may stop to visit Narasimha Temple and Shankaracharya Cave. On reaching the ropeway point, board the cable car to Auli (tickets are available on direct payment). The ride gives you stunning views of the Himalayan peaks.

 

Upon reaching Auli, check in at the hotel and later take the Chair Lift (direct payment) to reach the 360-degree viewpoint of Auli.

 

You can also trek to Gurso Bugyal, known for its spectacular views of Trishul Peak, Nanda Devi, and Dron Parvat. Another stop is Chattrakund, a pristine lake perfect for nature lovers. In the evening, visit Auli Artificial Lake, one of the highest man-made lakes in the world. Return to the hotel by Chair Lift, then have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3

Have breakfast and check out for a scenic road trip to Kausani, a town praised by Mahatma Gandhi as the ‘Mini Switzerland of India’. Once you arrive, check in at the hotel and take some time to unwind. Later in the day, proceed for local sightseeing, including Anashakti Ashram, Laxmi Ashram, and Sumitranandan Pant Gallery. End the tour with a visit to the Kausani Tea Estate to learn about tea cultivation and enjoy the refreshing aroma. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel follow.

Day 4

After breakfast, check out and begin the drive toward Mukteshwar. While crossing Almora, make a brief stop to buy the famous Bal Mithai, a local sweet treat. Continue your journey to Bhowali, the largest fruit market in the region, often referred to as the “Fruit Bowl of Kumaon.”
Arrive in Mukteshwar and check in at the hotel. Later, visit the Mukteshwar Temple, a revered shrine situated on a hilltop, offering stunning views of the Himalayas. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5

Enjoy breakfast and check out of the hotel. Drive towards Bhimtal with stops at Ghorakhal, known for its scenic temple and viewpoints; Naukuchiatal, famous for its nine-cornered lake; and Sattal, a cluster of seven freshwater lakes. Continue to Nainital and check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure—relax at the hotel or explore nearby markets. Dinner and overnight stay in Nainital.

Day 6

After breakfast, set out for a full-day sightseeing tour of Nainital. Visit Khurpatal Lake, known for its emerald waters, followed by waterfalls and beautiful viewpoints. Continue to Hanuman Mandir and the Observatory.

 

Later, enjoy a cable car ride to Tiffin Top for sweeping views of the valley. You can also indulge in a peaceful boat ride on Naini Lake. Spend the evening walking and shopping along Mall Road before going back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Corbett National Park, India’s oldest and most famous wildlife sanctuary. Upon arrival, check in at the resort and relax. Later, head out for a jeep safari inside the forest where you can spot a variety of wildlife, including tigers, elephants, deer, and vibrant bird species. Return to the resort in the evening and enjoy a bonfire session (subject to weather) followed by dinner. Overnight stay in Corbett.

Day 8

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your drive toward Haridwar or Dehradun for your onward journey. You will be dropped off at the airport or railway station as per your departure schedule. Your Uttarakhand Family Tour concludes here.

  • 29 days to 15 days before arrival – 25% of the tour/service cost.

  • 14 to 08 days before arrival – 50% of the tour/service cost.

  • 07 days & less before arrival or no show – NO REFUND
